Kenry, who goes by one name, joined the University of Arizona in late June 2023. He is currently an Assistant Professor of Pharmaceutical Sciences at the Department of Pharmacology and Toxicology (R. Ken Coit College of Pharmacy), Skin Cancer Institute (University of Arizona Cancer Center), and BIO5 Institute. He is also a faculty member of the Clinical and Translational Oncology Program and the Cancer Biology Graduate Interdisciplinary Program at the University of Arizona Cancer Center.
Kenry completed his postdoctoral training in Bioengineering at Harvard University (with Dr. Samir Mitragotri), in Imaging and Radiology at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute / Harvard Medical School (with the late Dr. Moritz Kircher), and in Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering at the National University of Singapore (NUS) (with Dr. Bin Liu).
He received his PhD in Biomedical Engineering as an NGS Scholar from NUS (with Dr. Chwee Teck Lim), graduating with NUSS Medal for Outstanding Achievement. As an ASEAN Undergraduate Scholar, Kenry earned his BEng (First Class Honors) in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from Nanyang Technological University, Singapore, where he graduated with EEE Excellence Award.
To date, Kenry has authored/co-authored more than 80 peer-reviewed journal articles and book chapters and been recognized for his accomplishments with more than 70 national and international awards and honors.

Célia is a Postdoctoral Research Associate at the Kenry Lab. She received her PhD in Nanomedicine from Paris Cité University in France, before joining the Kenry Lab at the University of Arizona. Célia is highly experienced in nanomedicine engineering and development, especially in the synthesis, characterization, and applications of metallic nanoparticles and carbon dots for photothermia and magnetic actuaction-based therapies. Additionally, she is well-versed in assessing in vitro nanotherapeutic efficacy against bacteria and biofilms.
Célia's current research focuses on developing hybrid nanoparticles for cancer immunotherapy. She is also exploring the applications of machine learning in breast and ovarian cancer detection and treatment.

Ziqi is currently a PhD student at the University of Arizona. She received her MS in Pharma Nanotechnology from the University of South Florida in the United States and BS in Clinical Pharmacy from the Capital Medical University in China. Ziqi is highly experienced in pharmaceutical nanotechnology and drug formulation. Additionally, she has practical knowledge in formulation development, pharmacokinetics, and FDA regulatory requirements gained through her research at SGN Nanopharma, Inc.
Ziqi's current research focuses on the development and application of machine learning to improve cancer diagnosis and treatment.

Andrew is a PhD student in the Arizona Biological and Biomedical Sciences program at the University of Arizona. He earned his PharmD from Rutgers University in New Jersey and is a licensed pharmacist in Arizona. During pharmacy school, he conducted research in cancer biology, with a focus on breast cancer.
His current research interests include cancer biology and pharmacology. He is interested in integrating clinical and translational perspectives into his research.

Leslie is a Master's student at the University of Arizona. She completed her BS in Molecular and Cellular Biology at the same university before transferring to the Cellular and Molecular Medicine graduate program. Her professional journey has led her to the realms of microbial genetics, plant pathology, agricultural biotechnology, and cancer therapeutics.
Leslie's current research focuses on the applications of machine learning to address human health challenges, particularly for the diagnosis of cutaneous neoplasms like melanoma.

Jamie is an indigenous (Tohono O'odham/Navajo), undergraduate student research intern with the Native American Cancer Prevention (NACP) Program/Undergraduate Biology Research Program (UBRP) in the Kenry Lab. Jamie is a US Navy veteran who served six years as a Hospital Corpsman and is now pursuing a BS in Interdisciplinary Studies with Emphasis in Science, Tech, Health & Society at the University of Arizona.
Jamie has participated in Harvard Medical School's Medicine-Pathways for Advancing Tribal Healthcare Program (M-PATH) and the Native American Research Internship (NARI) at the Huntsman Cancer Institute, where she gained hands-on clinical and research experience. As an aspiring physician, she is committed to improving health outcomes for Native American healthcare.

Nick Kaplan is a Senior at the University of Arizona, majoring in Pharmaceutical Sciences and Russian, with a minor in Biochemistry. He joined the Kenry Lab in summer 2026 as a part of the NIH-funded Place-based Health Informatics Research Education (PHIRE) program.
After graduation, he plans to pursue either a PhD in Pharmacology/Toxicology or a PharmD. In his free time, he enjoys riding his bike around Tucson and spending time with his two dogs, Perry and Humphrey.

Tiffany's current research interests include nanoparticles for cancer theranostics and applications of machine learning for breast and ovarian cancer detection and treatment.
